Truro Cathedral - Refurbishment works to Listed Building
The jewel in the centre of Cornwall’s crown, Truro Cathedral is a medieval style, Grade 1 listed, 19th Century building. Nova Construction has been instrumental in the building’s continued development and maintenance. Recognised for its consistent delivery of refurbishment works to listed buildings, Nova Construction has the resources to undertake any sensitive or listed building works in Cornwall. As a repeat contractor of choice for Truro Diocese, works to date have included the modification and refurbishment of the existing distinctive Cathedral bell-tower structures, extensive stonework, sound reducing works, the construction and integration of new service facilities (both mechanical and electrical), intricate roof works, the complete fit out of the increasingly popular restaurant, major drainage works and vital access improvements for disabled users. The Cathedral is a building with substantial archaeological significance and therefore particular care and attention had to be used when completing the successful works. Nova Construction is very proud of its longstanding and continued relationship with Truro Cathedral. Thanks to our positive rapport, we are currently undertaking a multi-million pound project for Truro Diocese, details of which will be published upon completion.
